Thank you so much for awarding me with the Brian Piccolo scholarship award. I am so grateful to have my name attached to such a prestigious award.
I would also like to thank my teammates as well as my coaches, particularly Coach Parpet and Coach LaScala. Both men were here for me and my family in our most troubling times, and were very influential teachers for me during my time in their programs.
My most influential moment at Lisle was the end of the 2019-2020 basketball season, where we won the inaugural conference title in the new ICE conference. Every game during that stretch was important, and the celebration afterward was triumphant.
Next year, I will be attending the University of Iowa and majoring in business, with the hopes of one day leading a company.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude for winning this award. I consider it one of the biggest achievements of my life and an excellent culmination of my high school sports career.
