​On Friday, January 19, 2024, starting at 7:30 pm (Following the Lisle vs. Herscher Basketball game) at the Lobby Bar and Lounge Hyatt Regency Lisle, 1400 Corporetum Dr. Lisle, Illinois 60532, the Carlin Nalley Foundation will be hosting a get-together to celebrate Lisle High School’s 2024 Hall of Fame inductees. Light snacks will be provided. The Hyatt kitchen will be open until 10 pm (click to see menu), and a cash bar until midnight.
This will be an excellent opportunity to congratulate and network with the HOF Class of 2024.

​Mr. Randy Pippen (Coach/Teacher/Mentor)
Randy Pippen was a dedicated professional who demonstrated, both as a teacher and an administrator, a true dedication to Lisle students. He was open to new ideas and always looking for ways to grow and enhance our effectiveness. He had great rapport with his students and was able to foster a sense of growth as well as ambition that led to their ultimate success. In his years at Lisle, Randy served as both the Sophomore Football Coach and the Varsity Baseball Coach. He established and taught Lisle’s first dual credit course with COD (Calculus). He introduced and promoted the concept of cooperative learning for our staff and served one year as Assistant Principal. Along with being the Key Club sponsor, Randy led the District’s transition to successfully integrate computer technology into our daily instruction. Randy Pippen retired as Director of Curriculum from Lisle 202. He taught for several years at North Central College after retiring from Lisle. He is a past president of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics, and treasurer of NCSM. Randy was instrumental in the creation of the Illinois Assessment Frameworks and Mathematics Descriptors and the 1997 Illinois Mathematics Standards. He has also worked with the Assessment Division of the Illinois State Board of Education. Randy received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics and State Awardee Honorable from the Presidential Awards program.

Ms. Andrea Norris - Class of 2004 (Athletics)
Andrea Norris, was one of Lisle's truly elite sprinters. Over the course of her prep career, Andrea earned 8 state medals, 6 individual medals and 2 relay medals. In the 100 meter dash, Andrea worked her way up the state ladder, finishing 8th in 2002, 3rd in 2003 and winning the state championship in 2004 and setting the Class A 100M Dash State Record. She also achieved a second and third place medal in the 200 meter dash and a 7th place medal in the 4x100 meter relay and a second place medal in the 4x200 meter relay. She also led the Lions to a sectional track title in 2004. At school, Andrea was involved in TASC, CTAO and Operation Snowball. She competed in Track & Field all four years and was all conference in 3 of her four years.

Mr. Chris (Sally) Wright - Class of 1997 (Athletics)
Chris (Sally) Wright excelled beyond the norm in two sports, football and basketball in his time at Lisle High School. In football, Chris played four years and was named all-conference in his junior and senior year. After graduating from Lisle, he went on to play football at Augustana College where he was a 3 year all conference player, All-American, and school record holder for receiving TD's in single game (4). It was in basketball, however, where Chris left a significant legacy. He competed in basketball all four years at Lisle and was named all-conference in both his junior and senior year. Also, in his senior year, he was named to the all-tournament teams at both the Thanksgiving and Christmas tournaments. He also competed in and placed 6th in the state in the IHSA Slam Dunk competition. Chris has widely been regarded as one of the best athletes of his era. He is number 18 on the Lisle All Time Points Scored list with 750. He was awarded the Brian Piccolo Award by the Carlin Nalley Foundation. The Piccolo Award is given to outstanding male senior athletes at Lisle High School.

​Mr. Matthew Schmitz - Class of 2006 (Fine Arts)
From the time he entered Lisle High School as a Freshman, Matt Schmitz was a leader. For all four years of his high school career he was the saxophone section leader in the bands that he played in. As a sophomore, he was the lead alto saxophone in Jazz Ensemble and a featured soloist at the annual Lisle/Benet Jazz Festival. In both his junior and senior years, Matt was selected to the Illinois Music Educators District Honor Jazz Band, featuring the top musicians from west suburban high schools in the Chicagoland area. He was also selected as All-State in both his junior and senior years as well. In his junior year, Matt was awarded a seat in the All-State Jazz Band and in his senior year, he was awarded a seat in the All-State Honors Jazz Band, which is the top high school jazz group in the state of Illinois. He was a consistently featured soloist throughout his time at Lisle and even composed and recorded an original blues composition his senior year.
