Lisle High School Class of 1972 — Let’s Reunite Like It’s the Good Old Days!

In 1972, the world seemed a little quieter, a little slower, and a whole lot simpler. School dances in the gym. Late-night hangouts at Lisle Lanes. Cruising down Maple Ave with the windows down and the radio up. Our biggest worries? Final exams and who was bringing the stereo to the weekend get-together.
Fast-forward to 2025, and we’re calling all members of the Class of ’72 to gather once again—this time at the Blue & White: Reunite! Lisle High School All-Years Reunion on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Let’s unwind. Let’s rekindle friendships. Let’s remember what made growing up in Lisle something truly special.
Back When Gas Was 30 Cents a Gallon and Life Was Slower
The world was changing fast in 1972, but in Lisle, life still had a rhythm all its own. That year, the headlines told stories that shaped our generation:

• President Nixon made history visiting Communist China
• Watergate began with a quiet break-in
• The tragic events at the Munich Olympics shocked the world
• The U.S. Supreme Court declared the death penalty unconstitutional
• Bloody Sunday rocked Northern Ireland
• Apollo 16 brought us closer to the stars
• Popeyes was born (and we had no idea how good chicken could be)

Through it all, we were growing up—Lisle Lions strong and proud, navigating our teenage years with curiosity, ambition, and just the right amount of mischief.
This October, Let's Make New Memories Join me at the newly remodeled Krasa Center on Benedictine University’s Lisle Campus. The evening kicks off at 6:00 PM, and your ticket includes light bites and an OPEN BAR—because we’ve earned it.
Reconnect with old friends, share stories from back in the day, and celebrate the legacy of Lisle High School. Whether it’s been 10 years or 50, there’s a place for you at Blue & White: Reunite.
