One of the most cherished traditions of the Lisle All-Years Reunion is the official class photos—and this year’s gathering delivered some of the best yet. From the Class of 1959 to the Class of 2025, Lions showed up strong, proud, and ready to capture the moment.
During Blue & White: Reunite! on October 18, 2025, alumni from across seven decades stepped in front of the camera to preserve a timeless snapshot of their class legacy. These photos reflect more than class years—they capture lifelong friendships, shared memories, and the enduring spirit of what it means to be a Lisle Lion. A special thanks again to Jeffery Meyer (Class of 1970) for arranging a professional photographer/videographer to document the night. Because of his commitment, every class has a high-quality keepsake from this unforgettable evening. 📸 Scroll below to find your class photo. The 6th Lisle High School All-Years Reunion brought together alumni from the Classes of 1959 through 2025—a true, roaring celebration of Lisle Lion pride. For one unforgettable night, generations gathered under one roof to reconnect, relive memories, and make new ones.
Held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the newly renovated Krasa Center at Benedictine University in Lisle, the evening blended tradition, nostalgia, and community spirit. The energy in the room reminded us why Lisle will always feel like home. A special thank-you goes to Jeffery Meyer (Class of 1970)—Hall of Fame announcer, lifelong Lion, and the driving force behind securing a professional photographer/videographer to capture the event from start to finish. Thanks to his efforts, we’re able to share this visual time capsule with all of Lion Nation. 📸 Please take your time exploring the gallery. November 2025 – Lisle, IL — The Carlin Nalley Foundation (CNF) announces that longtime board member and President John Bartels is stepping down from his leadership role to become the organization’s Chief of Fundraising.
Bartels has served on the CNF Board of Directors since 2009 and as President since 2013. Over his twelve-year tenure, the Foundation has enjoyed steady, successful growth — expanding scholarship programs, strengthening alumni engagement, and broadening community impact. A 1985 graduate of Lisle High School and a 1989 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Chemical Engineering, John recently retired after a distinguished career as an engineer and manager with BP. He resides in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood with his wife and two daughters. Succeeding Bartels as President is Karla (Nalley) Modelski, a fellow Lisle alumna and long-time CNF leader. Both leadership transitions were unanimously approved during the Foundation’s annual board meeting on Sunday, November 9, 2025. “It has been a privilege to serve on this outstanding board,” shared Bartels. “Stepping down from my role as president will allow me to focus on fundraising for CNF’s scholarship program — a cause I care deeply about.” Among his accomplishments, Bartels was honored in 2021 with the Lisle High School Distinguished Alumni Award. Giving Tuesday isn’t just a global day of generosity—it’s a moment when communities pause, reflect, and choose to make a difference. Here in Lisle, one of the most powerful ways to create real impact is by supporting our students through the Carlin Nalley Foundation’s Year-End Scholarship Campaign.
In 2026, this effort becomes even more meaningful: Every CNF scholarship will increase to $5,000. That means your Giving Tuesday gift will go farther, help more deeply, and directly shape a student’s future. Why Your Giving Tuesday Support Matters Lisle High School students continue to impress us with their humility, determination, and character. But as the cost of college and trade programs rises, financial support becomes a critical factor in helping these young people pursue their goals without overwhelming burdens. Your Generosity Powers:
Real Stories. Real Futures. If you’ve followed the Lisle Alumni Blog, you’ve read inspiring stories like Allison Doering’s, celebrating her accomplishments as an outstanding female athlete and Jones/Beato Award winner. These stories remind us why CNF exists: to lift up excellence, to honor student achievement, and to invest in the future of the community we love. Your Giving Tuesday participation turns the next student’s story into a success story. A Tradition of Excellence Worth Preserving For decades, the Carlin Nalley Foundation has honored the legacy of Carlin Nalley by supporting students who reflect the values that built this community—service, hard work, leadership, and a commitment to being the best version of oneself. Your donation is more than a financial gift. It is an act of belief. An act of encouragement. And an expression of deep Lisle pride.
