On behalf of the Carlin Nalley Foundation and the Lisle Alumni Association, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Jay for his many years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment.
As a founding member of the CNF, his perseverance and passion for putting Kurt Grutzmacher’s vision into action are still evident today in the success of our mission. That includes providing ten $5,000 scholarships to deserving Lisle High School seniors in 2026. Jay truly epitomizes the word “Lisleness” that John Bartels uses to describe that hometown feeling we all have when we are reunited. While his presence will be sorely missed on the board, we know we will still see him at future alumni events. We wish him the absolute best as he closes this chapter and moves on to writing many more (literally!) as an amazing, published author. This isn’t a goodbye, but rather a tip of the cap to say thank you for everything Jay has done for the foundation. He will be missed. — The Carlin Nalley Foundation Board of Directors |
