Grutzmacher Scholarship
|

The award will be given to one outstanding senior who is a direct descendant (child, grandchild, great grandchild, etc.) of one or more Lisle High School graduates. This award honors the Grutzmacher Family, who sent four kids through Lisle High School in the 1970’s, and has another generation going through today. Kurt Grutzmacher (Class of 1976) was the founder of the Carlin Nalley Foundation, and made the original $100,000 contribution that started our scholarships. All seniors who have a Lisle graduate in their lineage will be eligible to apply for the award. “Applications are judged by a faculty panel, and include the criteria of community service, achievement in the classroom, and accomplishments in extracurricular activities.”
